I’m Mary Ellen, an artist and calligrapher based in Southern New Jersey. I specialize in both traditional and modern pointed pen calligraphy. My work has been described as beautiful, romantic, modern, timeless and joyful. I love what I do and I believe it’s my love and passion for art and lettering that shows in my work.

 I an active member of my local guild, the Philadelphia Calligrapher’s Society and IAMPETH (The International Association of Master Penman, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting).

Most days you will find me in my studio working on projects for weddings and commercial work for businesses. I specialize in calligraphy for envelope addressing, escort cards, seating charts, invitation design, maps, menus and logo design. My clients appreciate my attention to detail and calm demeanor in the midst of the chaos of planning a wedding. I work with the industry's top stationers, designers, event planners and clients both locally, nationally and internationally.

I live with my husband in our house full of adopted animals – two cats, Charlie and Dexter and two dogs - Sadie and Amber, our recent rescue. When I’m not busy designing & making pretty letters you can find me painting, antiquing, thrifting, traveling or cooking for my husband and three kids.
